Front Desk RepresentativeThe Sheraton Hotel of Eatontown is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Front Desk Representative to join our award-winning team.The Sheraton Hotel of Eatontown is part of the Hotels Unlimited family of hotels. We understand that small acts of thoughtfulness make all the difference in creating an extraordinary hospitality experience.Responsibilities Include:Greet, check in, and assign rooms to guests in a friendly but efficient mannerAnswer all guests' questions, confirm reservations, and redirect phone calls to appropriate department when necessaryMonitor and update records of room availability and guests' accountsReview accounts and charges with guests during the checkout processCompute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests accuratelyRecord guest comments or complaints, referring guests to managers as necessaryAttend monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessaryCompensation And Benefits Include:This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.Part time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's retirement plans (once qualified).Full time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's health, dental, vision, and retirement plans (once qualified).Job Qualifications & Skills:Superb written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organization and multi-tasking abilitiesJudgment and decision makingStrong knowledge of MS office programsExperience with property management systems is a plusMathematics and reading comprehensionStrong attention to detailAbility to stand for long periods of timeMust be willing and able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
